With new orchestral, dramatic and operatic projects and collaborations in development, Phoenix leads multicultural community projects and sees music as a tangible force for positive change.

Alongside his musical pursuits, Phoenix has also taken active roles in assisting disadvantaged youth through creativity and worked as a non-religious, faith-inclusive chaplain at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, supporting patients with life-limiting conditions and in palliative care.

Ekrem is currently working on multicultural and multilingual community engagement initiatives through music.
